Each CA/PA can have stages applied to it which outline the type of work that needs to be performed to manage the CA/PA through to closure, such as investigation, corrective action or follow-up report. Each stage should have a target date and an owner who is responsible for managing the stage through to closure. Each CA/PA stage can also have stage actions assigned to them. Again, each action should have a target date and owner.
When a CA/PA is raised, stages, stage actions, owners and target dates might be assigned to the CA/PA automatically (if a template has been set up with matches the CA/PA Source). - Otherwise, the CA/PA owner must add stages and set a workflow in the Windows client.
