Incident stages are categories of work that must be completed before the incident can be closed. Each incident can contain stage actions, which are individual pieces of work which must be completed before its stage can be completed.
Each incident stage will have one of the following icons beside its name which shows the stage's position in the workflow:
-
- Work can begin on this stage
-
- Work has been completed. To make any changes to it, the stage must be reopened.
-
- Work cannot begin on this stage until a previous stage has been completed.
Each incident contains the following:
- Owner: The person responsible for closing the stage.
- Target Date: The date by which the owner should close the stage.
- Completed By / Closed Date: These fields will be completed once the stage is closed.
- Actions: You can open any action by clicking its number or details. Like a stage, each owner should have an owner. For more information, see Managing Incident Stage Actions.
- Findings: These will either be observations or non-conformances (from the CA/PA) module. To add or edit findings, you must use the Windows version of Q-Pulse.
- Team Members: This is a list of people who will be notified by Q-Pulse about changes to the stage.
- Attachments: Click any attachment to download it.
